This Service Agreement Contract outlines the terms and conditions under which Aly Marie Hair Artist at Magical Shears Hair Salon agrees to provide quality services to each client. This document serves as a binding agreement between both parties for the delivery of services specified, including all future services provided by Aly, and is designed to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.


1. Purpose of the Agreement

The purpose of this Agreement is to define the scope of services provided, the timeline for delivery, payment terms, and the responsibilities of both the Service Provider and the Client. It aims to protect the interests of both parties, ensuring that the services are delivered in a timely and professional manner and that obligations are met as agreed.


2. Appointments, Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • All appointments must be booked in advance.
  • A credit card is required on file for all new clients. A $75 hold will be placed on your card but will only be charged if you no-show an appointment or fail to cancel within 24 hours.
  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
  • No-show appointments are subject to full or partial service charges.
  • If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After 15 minutes, we may need to modify or reschedule your service.
  • Arriving 20 minutes late without notice will be considered a no-show and will be subject to our cancellation policy.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment will be made via cash, check, an approved payment card, or any other method determined by the Business.
  • Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to prepayment for future appointments.
  • Gratuities are not included in service pricing but are greatly appreciated.

4. No Refunds

  • Clients must notify us within one week if they are unsatisfied with a service. Within that first week, any corrections will be made free of charge.
  • We do not offer refunds for completed services.

5. Bridal Services

  • A trial is required before the wedding day to lock in a hairstyle.
  • A 50% deposit is required for bridal services 6 months before the wedding day.
  • A full refund is available if canceled at least 60 days before the wedding. Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable.
  • No refunds after the service has been completed.

6. Licensing & Confidentiality

  • Magical Shears Hair Salon holds all necessary licenses to perform services legally.
  • Any sensitive client information shared will remain confidential.

7. Permanent Jewelry Policy

  • All permanent jewelry sales are final.
  • Complimentary repairs will be provided if the jewelry breaks within 30 Days.

8. Salon Policies

No Children Policy

  • Due to safety concerns, space limitations, and to maintain a relaxing environment, children are not permitted in the salon unless they have an appointment or discussed with your stylist pier to appointment.

No Politics Policy

  • To ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all clients, political discussions are discouraged during salon visits.

Photography Policy

  • Clients are welcome to take photos of their services but must seek consent before photographing staff or other clients.
  • By allowing the salon to take photos of your hair, you grant permission for the images to be used for promotional purposes.

9. Health & Safety

  • If you have allergies, scalp conditions, or other health concerns, please inform us before your service.
  • A patch test may be required for new hair color clients to avoid allergic reactions.
  • Magical Shears Hair Salon is not responsible for allergic reactions.

10. Liability

  • Magical Shears Hair Salon is not responsible for damage caused by failure to follow aftercare instructions.
  • We are not liable for lost or stolen personal belongings.

11. Gift Cards & Promotions

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and valid for one year from purchase.
  • Promotional offers cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

12. Card on File Policy

  • Clients agree to store their card securely on file for appointment bookings.
  • The card will only be charged for services, late cancellations, or no-show fees per our policy.

13. Dispute Resolution

  • We strive for clear communication and professionalism to reduce conflicts.
  • Clients will receive a copy of this agreement to their email after booking their first appointment, along with a Credit Card Authorization Contract to sign.
